Following Traditions or Not

All brides want their wedding day to be unique and unlike anyone else’s.  To make a wedding really personal, you can use a tradition from your own background which will certainly make your wedding one-of-a-kind.  Not every culture will use Gold Wedding Rings and Bands in the ceremony as some religions do not even allow wedding rings at all.

Japanese wedding will have a ceremonial drinking of sake where the bride and groom will drink nine cups. To reaffirm the bond of the couple, the guests and family also drink sake.  Many people know about the groom stepping on a glass to break it the end of a Jewish wedding ceremony which is said to scare away evil spirits.

In Russian weddings, after a friend gives a toast and everyone has drank their champagne, they all throw their glass to the floor.  Good luck is then seen for the couple if the glass brakes when it hits the floor.  There are many customs that are still repeated today and considered a tradition for each wedding.  You can choose to start your own tradition or follow in the footsteps of the past.  The choice is all yours.
